Wednesday Mornin' 4am

i woke up this morning too early for anyone's good - 4 am - and these are my thoughts as i laid in my bed.

4:26am I woke up too early today, for some reason. too early like 4. so i cocooned myself in my blankets, hoping the cool air-conditioned er, condition would cajole my impetuous awareness into slumber. no luck. [turning and tossing occurs with some additional details and me finally giving it all up with a great big yawn - an ackowledgement that i'm bloody awake]

so i stared at the ceiling. it's not as unpleasant as one might think, considering i'm half awake, warm save my nose poking out from the geography of blankets i'm under, everything's quiet and it's not even beginning to light up outside. the sun's on its way, i understand, but don't care. not yet, anyway.

5:38am. i find that staring at the ceiling is, at this juncture, rather pleasant. of course, i may change my mind if i had someone snoring beside me while i contemplated the whitewash... then again i would probably decide to roll into the other and feign unconsciousness, searching for a cuddle and murmuring into his back. either way it is better than staring at the overhead fan because, i find, i cannot do it for long.


6:35am birds, you can afford to shut up.

6:51am to think i crouched this way and that during these few hours hoping to catch some sleep. the sun has arrived. >_<
